Valentia Island Cruises

In July 2022, we were delighted to launch a brand new website for Valentia Island Cruises, who provide breathtaking boat tours around the beautiful Valentia Island in Kerry.

Boat tours are extremely popular in Kerry, since it’s on the most scenic part of the Wild Atlantic Way. It was important we captured this beauty in the website, so to entice website visitors to book a tour with Valentia Island Cruises.

Our main focus for this development:

• Easy to use website, especially on mobile as most visitors will be tourists on their mobile phones.
• Effective use of imagery and videos, to bring the website to life.
• Smart integration of booking widgets. Visitors can now see available cruises on the website without being re-directed to another website, and cruises can be booked with a pop up also without leaving the website.
• SEO – It was important that the website was highly optimised for Google Searches. Valentia Island Cruises is now highly ranked for relevant searches, and will keep improving as the website is used more and more.

Other add ons:

• Interactive Map – There is a detailed map on the website with specific landmarks along their boat tours route, a great way to show potential customers what they are buying.
• Business e-mail – We set up Valentia Island Cruises with their own business e-mail address. It’s important for brand professionalism to have an official E-mail address.
• Marketing Campaign – to boost sales on official launch, we also had a 4 week marketing campaign with effective use of graphic designs to draw visitors to the website.
